Training on Circular agriculture for Health Science Students at BUST

Hands-on training on circular agriculture organized for BUST Health Sciences students at the Bamenda University of Science and Technology (BUST) Living laboratory (https://incitis-food.eu/knowledge-hub/living-labs/lab/bamenda-university-of-science-and-technology-bust/) on 13th January 2024. This training had the twin objectives of providing participants with a deeper understanding of the relationship between sustainable agricultural practices and the One Health approach, which recognizes the interconnectedness of human health, animal health and environmental health, and to enhance their capacity to engage in Circular Agriculture as a business. Training sessions on recycling of agricultural wastes, resource recovery, sustainable crop and livestock production, environmental benefits, and improved food safety issues further strengthened the connections between agri-food and health systems in real world situations; and opens room for interdisciplinary collaboration.
