Additional information for aspiring/current students

  1. Students must register before the commencement of lectures by paying at least the registration fee at the beginning of the year. The remaining tuition fees can be paid in at most two installments. The second and last installment must be paid by the end of February.
  2. Only students who have not registered by December 10 will not be considered as regular students. Those who do not pay up to 50% by January 31 are not eligible for first semester examinations. Those who have not completed fees by May 31 will not take the second semester examinations.
Fees at BUST are the most competitive in the whole country.
  3. Fee payments are also made easier by special arrangements that allow for installment based payments that respect the stipulated deadlines.
There are no hidden additional fees. Fees are only paid into stipulated Bank accounts or at the Tellers in BUST. Beware of frauds. BUST does not take responsibility for any fees paid through other channels (please contact the Finance department for detailed information).
  4. Good News!! As part of celebrating its 30 years of existence, BUST is offering up to 30% first year Tuition Scholarships to ALL students who enroll for the 2025/2026 academic year!
  5. Performance based scholarships year two onwards (VC’s scholarship, Deans’ scholarship, Shine with companion scholarships) that hard working students can benefit from (details will be provided in the students’ orientation meeting in November)
  6. Examination Fees for the HND are determined by the Ministry of Higher Education that conducts the examination each year. FEES for Masters Degree Programs: (Contact the Registry or Bursary)
  7. Years one and two are equivalent to HND. Same fees apply for HND students
  8. All students transferring from other schools or being admitted for the same time into BUST for the first time are considered as new students (as long as they will need a matriculation number), and therefore can benefit from the tuition scholarship graciously offered by INDECO from the 2025/2026 academic year.
  9. Good news: Students no longer have to pay extra for processing certificates and transcripts, as this will be paid for by the owners of the University, INDECO. However students will pay a token of FCFA 12,000 before collecting the certificates and transcripts, to compensate for extra costs incurred following up the mentoring institution who issue certificates.
  10. Certification, certificate reprints and similar costs still apply at BUST (please contact BUST administration for details: info@bustedu.com).
